Professor Daniel Cohen is the director of the Center for History and New Media and Associate Professor of History at George Mason University. An internationally recognized leader in the digital humanities, Cohen developed the bibliographic management system Zotero, has led the creation of several digital archives, co-founded the Humanities and Technology (THAT) Camp and is leading the Press Forward Initiative dedicated to the advancement of web-based scholarly publication. Cohen has written books on the history of mathematics and on digital history, and his forthcoming book explores the changing landscape of scholarly communication.
