Dylan Kenny studies the Greek poet Pindar, who was active in the first half of the fifth century BCE. He explores the place of Pindar’s poetry in the rapidly changing intellectual landscape of his time, which saw extraordinary developments in such fields as natural philosophy, medicine, rhetoric, and political theory.
