Steven Justice is professor of English and founding director of the Center for the Study of Religion. He specializes in the literature of the later middle ages. The author of Writing and Rebellion: England 1381, Professor Justice is currently working on two new book projects: Adam Usk's Secret (a short book in which a late-medieval chronicler serves as a parable of the problems of literary historicism) and Did the Middle Ages Believe in their Miracles? (a longer book on the experience of religious belief in the middle ages).
