Rebecca Egger oversees all programs at the Townsend Center and serves as the Center’s liaison with campus faculty members, staff, and students engaged in humanities-related work. She holds an AB in English and art history from Brown University and a PhD in English from Cornell University. She served as assistant professor of English at the University of Michigan, where she specialized in modernist literature and visual culture. Prior to joining the Townsend Center, she was director of academic administration for UC Berkeley's Division of Arts and Humanities.
