The Art Histories of South Asia working group explores new paradigms in the field of art history in the region of South Asia. We adopt a broad temporal and thematic range in order to encourage critique and conversation among a wide range of scholars from various disciplines. In terms of material culture, the group seeks to study a diverse spectrum of historical objects and spaces, and to explore their intersection with digital humanities and technologies.
