Transnational & Ethnic American Studies
Group Coordinators
The Transnational & Ethnic American Studies working group fosters interdisciplinary conversation about transnational, postcolonial, and decolonial methods of scholarly inquiry. The working group provides a forum for addressing the problematics of nationalized (in terms of "American, "Anglophone," or translated) literatures in the wider context of empire and globalization. It is also committed to examining the comparative significance of cross-cultural production, border-thinking, indigeneity, alterity, material culture, gender and sexuality, disability, race, and ethnicity.
