The Human Rights Seminar invites distinguished scholars across disciplines to present their recent research. Hosting several lectures and a book roundtable each semester, the seminar brings these scholars into conversation with the Berkeley community. The theme for the 2013-14 seminar lectures is “Visual Culture and Human Rights.”
This seminar features Natasha Eaton (University College London), whose research focuses on political rivalries in relation to colonialism.
Presented by the Human Rights Program, the History of Art Department and The Townsend Center for the Humanities.
